The Steps of Wedding Planning
We are not just coordinators. We give you advice which often worth more than anything on your wedding day. The really good planners work in a team and have seen a couple of things go wrong - therefore we are prepared for worst-case scenarios.
First we set your goals, figuring out your budget target, setting your wedding date . With that information in our hand we contact all the possible and available event locations, reserve the venue and optionally visit the location with the you as the couple in person.
Then we create a menu and drink list with the catering company. Finding all the best service providers starts from the photographer all the way to the band, we find you the most suitable ones. We also make contact with the church you have chosen, and/or find you an officer who has a licence to officiate your wedding ceremony on location.
We take 100% responsibility for the work provided by our partner companies. We only work with flexible and reliable professionals who are part of Poppie & Co’s success. With frequent contact the script of the actual day develops.
About Poppieandco
My name is Edina (or Poppie) and I am the Owner + Lead Planner of PoppieandCo. I was born to be an event manager as my mother was one of the best in the city. I grew up at her office, and after finishing my university studies I started to work with my mother as a jr. event manager and creative designer.
The idea to become a wedding planner came after my wedding 18 years ago where I did all the planning by myself. I got so exhausted on my wedding day and thought it would have made me more balanced if I had an expert by my side. After planning my best friend’s wedding the requests just kept coming.
What started with a passion, soon became a profession.
I’m seeking constantly new challenges.
I want to create you an unforgettable wedding with tons of magical moments which reflects you, your personality, and your dreams of course with a little touch of Poppie.
